More than 1800 campgrounds in the US and Canada are now available to be booked directly on the Booking.com platform, which is great news for travelers looking for something different this summer. As the cost of flight tickets abroad continues to rise, hotel stays and everything else in between, camping trips are likely to be a hit with travelers looking for a more cost effective staycation this summer, and booking a stay at a campsite just got easier.

The integration of Booking.com will help promote camping to millions more potential customers, but Campspot has no plans of stopping there. The campground reservation software company, created by campground owners for campground owners, has their eyes set on partnering with other giants of the accommodation industry such asAirbnb and Vrbo over the next few months, to bring the potential exposure of camping trips to all new highs.
